    3M PAPR (powered air-purifying respirator) headgear for healthcare and pharmaceutical applications covers the head to allow clean air to be directed to the worker. A breathing tube connects the helmet to the filtered air source to deliver a constant flow of air inside the workers headgear.
    Note these were manufactured in 2003 and 2004. Prior to 2016 these hoods had no stated shelf life. 3M issued a shelf life in 2016 stated that the shelf life for the hoods is 10 years. These have never been used and are in the manufacturers box where they have been for 18 years. There is no visible deterioration of the hood. letter is at "
