These days, it makes sense for a civilian to have a gas mask with sealed filters in their contingency box. You never know when a forest fire or factory explosion happens next door and the wind is blowing from the wrong direction.
A next generation, multi-function, full face mask provides unrivalled comfort and protection against a wide variety of respiratory hazards. The Promask2 has many unique features as well as offering proven convenience and reliable performance. Comprised of high quality, hypo-allergenic materials. The outer covering is made from a specially designed elastomer "Procomp", which offers maximum user comfort as well as resistance to chemicals, high temperature and daily wear and tear. The face shield is composed of highly impact-resistant polycarbonate (PC). This durable, hard-coated PC visor provides excellent solvent and scratch resistance. The newly redesigned inner mask is made from non-allergic silicone - specially chosen for its chemical resistance and wearer acceptance. This soft silicone inner mask eliminates the feeling of contact with the skin. Because the inner mask is transparent, it is easy to identify the wearer.

Smooth airflow prolongs battery life when used with power-assisted respirator blowers.
Simple to maintain allowing for a long service life, the ProMask2 can be cleaned without risk of deterioration.
The valves are color-coded to facilitate checking and replacement of vital components.
All valves are made from flexible, long-life silicone.

Storage and maintenance of a filter: The filters are sealed in plastic bags by the manufacturer. Store the filters unopened in a clean place at even temperature, most appropriate at 0...+30°C and relative humidity below 75%. Sealed filters tolerate also conditions of -10...+50°C and below 95% RH. The storage period (month and year) for filters is marked on the filter tape. Do not try to regenerate the filters. Never clean the filters with compressed air or compressed water.
